AMERICAN PSYCHO

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis is one of my favorite books. It’s a work of true genius, about a sadistic murderer who is self-obsessed. The thing that’s great about this author is his strong voice - several of his other novels convey similar themes. The reader is transported into the protagonist’s shallow, depraved and violent thoughts and actions.

  1. I agree it was a good read, but strange. I mean what a story...it takes a strong of heart and stomach to get Thur it. It has been a while since I read it...I read it when it first came out and the public was wanting to ban the book due to it's content. Not for sure if I want to reread when I have so many good books waiting for me to discover another adventure.
